This NYFW, I had the pleasure of attending the alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet S/S ’13 presentation on behalf of one of my clients. Being a social media nerd is definitely in style right now in fashion. Just ask Lauren Indvik (aka my idol). I was behind-the-scenes capturing tweets, footage, and Instagram-glories galore all night long. Here are a few favorites I captured during the evening. I loved everything about the collection – fun, colorful, vintage-inspired and whimsical in every way.

Following the show, we stopped by Highpoint Bistro and Bar to grab dinner. Check out this concoction they call the “Caramel Experiment”. You basically mix the caramel together until it becomes as salted as you like.

I also passed by the funniest little doughnut bar that was open day and night. I didn’t catch the name, but the shop caught my eye because of the doughnut décor on the walls. How did I not write down the name? Does anyone happen to know this place in the Meatpacking District?

Stuffed doughnuts anyone?

My last day in NYC, I had the painful honor of being there on 9/11 – my first time being there on that day. I still haven’t made it to the memorial yet, but it’s on my list of to-dos for another trip. It was eerie flying out of LaGuardia to be completely honest that day, but I had to fly off to Denver to be with my family.
